The 1st in a series of 4 storms is making its way through the Bay Area on Thu creating a soggy commute for much of the region.

As of Thu at five in the morning a lot of North Bay locations have received just under 1 inch of rain, according to Will Pi, a forecaster with the National Weather Service. The fast-moving storm is expected to deliver moderate rain through about seven in the morning followed by a few showers through late morning, Pi said.

By evening “it should be clearing out,” Pi said.

A 4th system is expected to reach the Bay Area on Tue into Wed according to the weather service.
