Local Roundup: Marin spoils Cabrillo baseball’s home opener; MVC’s Moore sets school record with 33 points

Marin College spoiled the Cabrillo baseball team’s home opener Tue with a three-run 3rd inning that led to a 9-4 nonconference rout.

Marin also scored 5 runs in the seventh.

Alex Trautner took the loss after giving up 4 earned runs, including a home run.

Digger Gugale went 2-for-4 with a run, while Jordan Peabody went 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Colton Crabtree also went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
